    ALI is located at Rock Lodge, near Okahandja in central Namibia. Our campus provides a peaceful and focused environment ideal for learning, personal growth, and leadership development.

  • How long is the leadership programme?
    The core programme typically spans 6 months with 3 weeks on campus, though we offer shorter leadership seminars and custom training sessions throughout the year for specific groups or partners.
  • Is ALI courses available online?
    No, the African Leadership Institute (ALI) does not offer its courses online. Our curriculum is designed to provide an immersive and hands-on educational experience, which is best achieved through in-person interaction and engagement. Our on-campus programs enable students to benefit from face-to-face mentorship, collaborative projects, and direct access to state-of-the-art facilities. This approach supports our mission to cultivate leadership skills and foster a strong sense of community among our students.
  • Is ALI a religious institution?
    ALI is a Higher Education Institute who provide leadership development interventions. Our leadership ethos uses the Bible as leadership manual and Jesus Christ as ultimate leadership example. However, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds and beliefs who are eager to become Transformational leaders. Our training includes general wellbeing, of which spiritual growth is a vital part of leadership development.

    ALI uniquely combines intellectual training with spiritual and character development. Our curriculum is deeply rooted in Christian values and emphasizes integrity, service, and results-driven leadership. African Leadership Institute is accredited with the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and registered with the Namibia Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and Namibia Training Authority (NTA). Our NQA accredited academic programs include a Certificate in Entrepreneurship (Level 4), Certificate in Transformational Leadership (Level 5) and a Diploma in Transformational Leadership (Level 6). Our non-academic programs include various seminars, Teambuilding Training and Leadership Training for Namibian youth. Our basic philosophy is a holistic approach to leadership development (focusing on both human and social capital) that inspires and enables individuals to lead transformation in themselves, their families, teams, organizations and communities.
